MEET THE CANDIDATE

Andrew Is Working, Living & Raising A Family In Cambridge – He Cares About The Things You Care About!

Armed with over two decades of relevant experience ranging from publicly opening up the regional budget process in Elora, to leading the fight against small school closures in the late 1990’s, to securing support which built a new high school in Centre Wellington, to a recent bid to become Cambridge’s mayor, Andrew is a strong strategic thinker with a long and distinguished track record of addressing many challenging political issues and delivering successful results by collaborating with others.

His experience on Wellington County Council (akin to Waterloo Regional Council) and many other boards like the McDonald-Stewart Art Centre and Elora Festival will prove to be a great asset as he seeks to serve Cambridge as the Ontario PC Candidate and after the fall provincial election, as MPP.

In addition, his degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, along with his experience in chairing the Elora Planning Committee and Wellington County Planning Board, will be invaluable as Cambridge will want to strengthen relationships between our city’s council and Queens Park to bring growth to the economy, greater quality in education & healthcare and to complete important capital projects like the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Capital Project.

For more than 20 years, Andrew has been making valuable contributions to Cambridge and the surrounding area as a:

  • Cambridge Christian School Board Chairman 2009-2010
  • Rotary Club of Cambridge North member 2006-2008
